Our Mission

All boys who attend Camberwell Grammar School are members of the Old Camberwell Grammarians' Association when they leave the school. The Association focuses on encouraging all leavers to maintain links with the school and with one another. The objectives of the Old Camberwell Grammarians' Association are:

  • To foster communication between Members, and between Members and the School.
  • To sponsor and organise activities for members including social and sporting activities.
  • To provide financial and other support to the school.

The OCGA is your Association. The following information will give you some idea of its activities. When you need information about the Association, or you need information from the Association, contact the OCGA office at the school and every effort will be made to assist you. We look forward to your participation in the life of the OCGA.

Life Membership

Camberwell Grammar School values the on going support and interest of their Old Boys and the Old Camberwell Grammarians’ Association would be pleased to welcome you as a Life Member.

Life Membership with the OCGA is a once only subscription, and it entitles you to receive copies of Spectemur for the rest of your life - no matter where you travel – as long as you notify us of any changes.

In addition to this, there are many intangible benefits of continuing your association with the School. One very important benefit is the networking in a wide cross section of careers in many different countries. The OCGA network is strong and can be of tremendous help to young Old Boys starting out in their careers. There are always Old Boys willing to give their time and experience to help others, and to share their contacts with younger members of the network.

If you are interested in joining any OCGA sporting teams, or other activities, please contact the Development Office who will put you in touch with the president of the sport or activity of your choice.
